The Colombian gale in the first half was a burden for a hard-working Panamanian team at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, in the Arizona desert, where they were unable to escape a category five hurricane named James.

Neither José Fajardo’s runs nor Cristian Martínez’s good judgment with the ball might defeat Colombia, officially a candidate for the title.

Panama says goodbye with its head held high following playing in the quarterfinals for the first time. Colombia continues to be on a roll, undefeated, and is already preparing for a high-tension semi-final once morest Uruguay.
