“Coordination of Iraqi Armed Factions” meets following Israeli-American threats to launch a comprehensive war on Lebanon

Iraq – The “Coordination of Iraqi Armed Factions” was held yesterday, Sunday, following Israeli and American threats to launch a comprehensive war on Lebanon and its resistance.

The coordination committee said in a statement that it was decided that if Israel carried out its threat, the pace and quality of operations against them would escalate.

She stressed that “American interests in Iraq and the region will be legitimate targets for the resistance.”

“The massacres and genocide that our people in Palestine are being subjected to, supported by America, necessitates taking firm positions towards the normalization countries, not supporting them with Iraqi oil and money. Perhaps the Aqaba-Basra oil pipeline, which drains Iraq with huge sums of money without any economic benefit for the country, is the starting point for introducing Iraq into a malicious project that paves the way for normalization with the entity,” she said in a statement.

The “resistance in Iraq” claims responsibility for bombing areas in Israel and American bases in Syria and Iraq in response to the devastating Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, warning the United States that it will increase the number of armed operations in response to Washington’s continued provision of military assistance to the Israeli army.

Recently, with the escalation between the Lebanese factions and Israel, Iraqi factions warned Israel against launching a comprehensive war on Lebanon, announcing their readiness to participate in the fighting, as the Iraqi factions confirmed that America’s interests in Iraq and the region are being targeted if Washington supports Israel in an attack on Lebanon.

The Secretary-General of the Iraqi factions also threatened Israel with a “fight from point zero” if it launched a war on Lebanon, using its entire military arsenal.

It is worth noting that the “factions in Iraq” announced in the past few days that they had carried out joint operations with the Houthis targeting Israel.
