Coomeva Prepaid Medicine has just inaugurated its second own medical center in the Coffee Region, this time in the city of Armenia. This is the Mocawa Medical Center which, together with the Circunvalar Medical Center inaugurated in Pereira in September, will benefit nearly 11,000 users.
The Mocawa Medical Center in Armenia offers users general medicine consultations and a complete offer of medical specialties, such as cardiology, internal medicine, pediatrics, and nutrition and dietetics, as well as a clinical laboratory and gynecological sample collection. The investment for this new medical center has been close to 1500 million pesos.
Expansion
As part of its national expansion plan in which the company announced twelve of its own medical centers by the end of 2022, Coomeva Medicina Prepagada also inaugurated another two medical centers this month in the cities of Bucaramanga and Tuluá, completing seven new facilities dedicated to health . The investment between the three cities exceeds $4.5 billion pesos.
Marco Montes Martínez, general manager of Coomeva Medicina Prepagada, affirms that it is not only regarding a modern and efficient physical infrastructure, but regarding a whole health care and attention system that combines the advantages of technology with personal attention. “Medical centers work through the Comprehensive Health and Service Model designed for each stage of life and health condition of our users, with cutting-edge technologies and updated communication channels,” says the manager, alluding to the significant investment in technology that Coomeva Medicina Prepagada carried out to reinforce digital channels, which include attention via WhatsApp, with an average of 15,000 monthly consultations; the Teleconsulta Virtual Medical Center, which handles more than 650 queries per month, and the renewal of the contact center service model, capable of processing an average of 15,000 calls per month
Despite the fact that the country’s economic conditions have changed since the company announced its national expansion plan in December 2021, Marco Montes assures that the schedule will continue to run as planned. «Coomeva Prepaid Medicine has been trusting in the country for almost half a century. We will continue to invest in infrastructure and a better user experience to be the preferred company for Colombians to take care of their health and that of their family.”
