Housewives used to use aluminum utensils for cooking foods. They are not aware of the dangers of using this type of utensil.
Recently, following conducting experiments on mice, scientists revealed significant health risks resulting from cooking food in aluminum utensils.
The experiments focused on verifying the toxic effect of the elements in boiling water in new aluminum pots and old ones that are up to six years old. Scientists gave mice what they wanted from water that was boiled in aluminum pots for 3, 4 and 5 weeks.
The results showed that there were changes in the sperm of these mice, in addition to a decrease in their sperm count, the longer the mice used this water, and the longer the life of the aluminum container.
The researchers observed an increase in the number of micronuclear red blood cells, as well as some nuclear abnormalities in the mice used in this experiment, and this increase was also associated with an increase in the life of the cookware.
He also found changes in the liver functions of mice that drank boiled water, which made the scientists announce the final results of this experiment, which states that “water that was boiled in aluminum cooking pots has the ability to cause toxic effects in cells and genes, especially as the age of the pot increases.” .
