The legal counsel for the convicts in the Vina and Eky murder case will come to the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit, South Jakarta, Tuesday (23/7). They are fulfilling an invitation to re-examine the murder case that occurred in Cirebon, West Java in 2016.

“The Criminal Investigation Department has invited us to hold a case conference tomorrow at 11.00 at the National Police Headquarters,” said the attorney for the convicts in the Vina case, Roely Panggabean to Medcom.id, Monday (22/7).

Roely said he represented six convicts, namely Jaya, Supriyanto, Eka Sandi, Hadi Saputra, Eko Ramadhani, and Rivaldi Aditya Wardana.

“Our clients are six convicts minus Sudirman,” said Roely.

In addition, Roely admitted that he had not filed a judicial review (PK) for the six convicts he accompanied. He conveyed the plan to file a PK when he came to the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit to report two witnesses Aep and Dede for false statements.

“You haven’t filed a PK,” he said.

Information that the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Indonesian National Police will conduct a re-examination of the case was first conveyed by the attorney for the other six convicts, Jutek Bongso. The unit that will hold the case of Vina’s murder is the Directorate of General Crimes (Dittipidum) of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Indonesian National Police.

“Next week there will be a title at the Police Headquarters,” said Jutek Bongso Medcom.idSunday (21/7).

Jutek was reluctant to mention that this case title was a follow-up to the report he made at the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit some time ago. In total, there have been three reports filed by the convicts represented by Jutek.
