Starting next Wednesday, May 4, the Venezuelan airline Conviasa will open its new international route to Santiago de Chile from Caracas.

The information was offered by the president of the airline, Ramón Velásquez Araguayan, through the social network Twitter.

«Next Wednesday, May 4, the Conviasa flight takes off on the Caracas-Santiago de Chile route. Take advantage of our super tariff to travel to this destination,” Velásquez said.

The first operational flights will be from this Wednesday and the next 18, whose departure will be from Caracas at 6:00 pm, VTV reported.

While the return from Santiago de Chile will be the next 5 and 19 of this month.

Likewise, the route joins the different international routes that Conviasa has, after the Caracas-Saint Vincent and the Grenadines frequency was inaugurated on April 28 with a weekly flight on Saturdays.

While other destinations of the Venezuelan airline go to Lima (Peru), Managua (Nicaragua), Havana (Cuba), Moscow (Russia).

Conviasa announces new flights

The airline announced in April the opening of a new air route between Maracaibo and Puerto Ordaz.

Through its social networks, Conviasa reported that the flights between the two cities will take place every Wednesday.

The departure from Maracaibo will be at 12:00 noon and the arrival time in Puerto Ordaz will be at 1:45 pm.

While the flight from Puerto Ordaz to Maracaibo will leave the same day at 2:45 pm and will land in the capital of Zulia at 4:30 pm.

This will be the longest commercial flight in Venezuela, lasting one hour and 45 minutes, according to aeronautical lawyer Rodolfo Ruíz.
