1 Refuel only at the last minute

Failure of the fuel pump
A fuel pump carries fuel from the fuel tank to the engine. While the engine is running, the motor in the fuel pump rotates at high speed, and the motor is lubricated and cooled by the “oil” contained in the fuel.
Even if there is no fuel due to lack of gas, the motor will turn by turning on the ignition switch. Frictional heat is generated because the motor runs without fuel to lubricate and cool, which can cause seizure due to friction.
● Failure of the self-starter motor and dead battery
If you continue to turn the self-starter motor (cell), saying “Kakere!” even though the engine is out of fuel, it will put a strain on the self-starter motor and battery. An average of 100 to 150 amperes of current flows through the self-starter motor, and as much as twice as much current flows instantaneously, so continuous use can cause malfunctions.
In addition, the battery can easily cause “battery dead” due to continuous use of the self-starter motor.
Damaged injection nozzle
The current mainstream direct injection engine is a system that uniformly injects fuel directly into the engine cylinder. The injection nozzle has the role of injecting fuel uniformly, and lubrication is performed by the fuel. Running out of fuel can lead to lack of lubrication and damage to the nozzle.
If the engine runs out of gas, there is a high possibility that the fuel filter is clogged with rust or dust in the fuel tank. If there is a lot of fuel in the fuel tank, even if there is rust and dust, it will be dispersed, but if there is little fuel, the fuel pump will collect rust and dust.
And you should be surprised that there are surprisingly many disadvantages caused by running out of gas. Also, keep in mind that a fuel tank that always contains a small amount of gasoline is prone to rust (spending money).
