Books – Marwan Al-Tayeb:
Social media pioneers launched an attack campaign once morest the artist Mohamed Ramadan following he continued to raise controversy over the past few days, promoting his participation in the African Cup of Nations draw ceremony in Côte d’Ivoire, and not publishing content that included support for the Palestinian cause or his condemnation of the occupation forces’ bombing of the Gaza Strip.
“Ramadan” published pictures of him from the scenes of his last concert with the Nigerian singer, Yami Aladi, through his official account on “Instagram”, during which he appeared wearing a jacket on his back with a logo embroidered with an eye inside a triangle, which social media pioneers described as resembling the Freemasonry logo, and comments rained down on him not appreciating the situation he was going through. The Arab people as a whole.
Many social media users attacked “Ramadan”, saying: “I am not considerate of anyone’s feelings. Unfollow him. The children of Gaza are dying. We will not wait for you to support Palestine.”
A few days ago, “Ramadan” celebrated the success of his concert in Côte d’Ivoire as part of the African Cup of Nations draw, amid the bombing that the Palestinian people are experiencing from the Israeli occupation forces, where he faced attacks and sharp criticism from social media pioneers.
He then returned to respond to the criticism, writing on his Instagram page: “I cannot stop working due to my commitment to contracts with international companies, but I have not and will not forget my Palestinian brothers in prayer, even before my concerts outside the Arab region. I and all my work team and my organization have been working for three days to send them the necessary aid. And during last Friday prayers here in Côte d’Ivoire, we asked the imam of the mosque to pray for the martyrs, women and children, and to grant patience to all of our hearts.”
It is noteworthy that Mohamed Ramadan recently screened the film “On the Zero” among an elite group of Egyptian cinema stars, led by star Nelly Karim, who is cooperating with him for the first time on the cinema screen, and the film achieved great success.
