Controversy Surrounding Bradley Cooper’s Use of Prostheses in “Maestro” Sparks Accusations of Anti-Semitism

Controversy caused the appearance of the actor Bradley Cooper in the first preview of “Maestro”biographical film where he plays the American conductor Leonard Bernstein (1918-1990). The reason? The use of a nose prosthesis in the characterization of the character.

“Master” is a romantic-biographical drama, written by Cooper and Josh Singer (“Spotlight”), which follows the life of the Massachusetts composer and conductor with a focus on his marriage to Montealegre.
