In disagreement with the approach of Blanche Gardin, who pinned Amazon regarding the big difference between the amounts of the salaries of the candidates and those of the gains accruing to the associations in the program “LOL: who laughs, comes out!”, the comedian Ahmed Sylla once more raised the controversy.

On April 20, Blanche Gardin published a long text on social networks, revealing that she had refused to participate in the show “LOL: quit laugh, get out!”. “It also happens that I would be embarrassed at the corners (…) to be paid 200,000 euros for a day’s work even if I lose at your game, when the charity of my choice would win 50,000 euros, that is to say 4 times less, and once more, only if I win. Yes, it bothers me to touch, for 8 hours of work, this maddening sum, ”wrote the comedian in particular.

What arouse a lot of positive reactions and some negative, like that of Ahmed Sylla who has, meanwhile, already participated in the program broadcast on Amazon Prime Video.

Guest of “Clique” this Wednesday, the actor, who had already spoken on the subject, wanted to clarify certain things, in particular why he had not appreciated the approach of the star of the series “The best version of me -even”. “I swear to you, I didn’t take 200,000 euros to do that,” he said. “It makes us look like bad people. There are two things: refuse the show and denounce the system that Amazon represents. They are two completely different things. So either you don’t say anything, otherwise take the sorrel and give it to associations. I didn’t like the way it was done because it was all regarding the money, and it made her look like a queen, like a princess for refusing the money.”

No “war” between them

“She has the right to say it,” he acknowledged, conceding that he agrees with her on the subject of multinationals that do not pay taxes in France, but he blames her for “the way it was do”.

“She put too much of a gap between her and us (the comedians who have already participated in the show, editor’s note), and that’s what I didn’t like. I felt a little targeted,” added the actor, before stating that Blanche Gardin would never have received a proposal for 200,000 euros. “I inquired with the prod and the amounts it was not that. I don’t know how much we offered him, but we didn’t offer him that,” he said.

On Europe 1, Ahmed Sylla stressed that contrary to what some media say, he is “not at war with Blanche Gardin”, whom he also greatly appreciates.
