Lewis Hamilton’s hint to Checo Pérez and Red Bull
Adam Cooper:
“Last weekend, Max had two obstructing incidents in qualifying, one in the pit lane and one on the track. Were you surprised that he got away with warnings and no penalties on the grid? And are you worried regarding the coherence (of the FIA)?”
Checo Pérez:
“No comment on that.”
Lewis Hamilton:
“You’re sure [’Checo’]? “You always have an opinion on things.”
Checo Pérez:
“Not in this. What should I say regarding this? “I’ll pass it on to you.”
Lewis Hamilton:
“Are you allowed to park at the end of the pit lane on the way out?”
Checo Pérez:
“Not to wait that long, but it is something that probably in the future, we were now allowed.”
Lewis Hamilton:
“I ask because I didn’t know. I really don’t know what to say. She was in the pit lane when everyone stopped and I mightn’t see what was happening up ahead. “We always push and work as closely as possible with the FIA to have consistency and there were some inconsistencies there, so we have to continue working on it.”
