There was some controversy when Microsoft bought Bethesda , the risk that future games won’t come to Sony’s consoles. Starfield is already one of them, and it remains to be seen if it will come over time. We’ve received a surprising number of exclusive PlayStation games on PC in recent years, There wasn’t much warning. “Bethesda games have been released on PlayStation for over a decade,” wrote one of the petition’s founders. They performed better, ran better, and sold better on PlayStation. Xbox, especially Phil Spencer, is in no position to take them away. Whether or not Microsoft will fall for the overwhelming pressure of the petition remains to be seen. Ironically, many people are signing up to comment on how stupid this all is. Maybe those who opposed the petition would end up contributing more votes than those who were actually in favor of Sony getting Starfield exclusivity.
