The consultant psychiatrist Dr. Musa Al Zaaleh that happiness in Ramadan is one of the signs of good mental health, as the researchers mentioned and as mentioned by the World Health Organization, as well as the presence of a positive feeling of happiness, comfort, tranquility and stability of the heart.
He added: During Ramadan, the souls settle down and communicate more with God, “Glory be to Him”, and are happy to read the Qur’an, and this is one of the benefits of mental health during the month of Ramadan.
He explained that we should train ourselves in the holy month to build beautiful psychological qualities and skills, one of the most beautiful of which is psychological recommendation, and one of the most beautiful things that we praise ourselves with in Ramadan is controlling emotions and dealing well with anger, drawing a smile and spreading psychological comfort and tranquility, and these matters are not exclusive to Ramadan. Only, Ramadan must be a school for what comes following, and make Ramadan a path for us to control our emotions and continue to control them following that until we achieve happiness for ourselves.
