During a financial report presentation for the third quarter of 2024, Remedy Entertainment, responsible for titles like Alan Wake 2, brought some interesting information to help satisfy the curiosity of the public and its investors. According to the company, the developer’s next big title, Control 2, will be an Action RPG.
No information has been revealed about what the gameplay will be like and what changes being an action RPG will bring to the franchise, but we can expect many elements of the genre present in the continuation of Remedy’s important title. The first game is a true Action/Adventure.
In addition to giving fans and investors a taste of what we can expect from the upcoming title, Remedy Entertainment also announced that the Ultimate edition of the first game, which is available on all platforms, will arrive in 2025 for the Mac.
