The future of Brazilian midfielder Casemiro has become one of the most important files in Real Madrid during the past hours, due to Manchester United’s interest in obtaining his services.
The 30-year-old has emerged as one of the most important candidates to join the Red Devils, following the English club failed to include Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong to support coach Eric Ten Hag.
The Spanish station “Onda Cero” confirmed that there are no official offers from Manchester to include the Brazilian star so far, but the first offer is expected to arrive at any time.
She explained that Real is not thinking of getting rid of Casemiro, and that the player is not fighting to get out, because of his feeling of stability and happiness in his current situation at the Santiago Bernabeu.
However, this situation may change at any moment in the event that the right offer arrives, which may prompt Florentino Perez, the club’s president, to consider giving up the player.
The station indicated that the amount of 70 million euros would be enough to convince Real Madrid to sell Casemiro to the English club, so that the ball would then be in the team’s midfield star’s court.
Real coach Carlo Ancelotti considers Casemiro untouchable, but with the arrival of Aurelian Chuamini and the presence of seven midfield players, a deal may be more likely to happen.
It is noteworthy that Manchester is targeting some other elements to support the team this summer, led by Moroccan star Hakim Ziyech, Chelsea playmaker, and Christian Pulisic, the Blues winger as well.
