The National Coordination for Contract Professors is preparing to embody forms of protest with partial, regional sit-ins on Monday, April 29, in front of the academies, coinciding with the presentation of the suspended professors to the disciplinary councils.
The coordination called on the union frameworks to participate in the proceedings of these councils, to refuse to sign any penalty once morest professors from work, and to adhere to the position of returning them to their work unconditionally.
In a related context, the coordination called on all educational workers to continue collecting financial contributions to cover the wages of the detainees, and to provide them with all forms of support to overcome this ordeal.
In its appeal on May 1, the coordination representing the contractors condemned what it called “the retaliatory penalties issued once morest the best professors, including warnings and reprimands, following they exercised their just and legitimate right to strike and protest,” denouncing “the malicious and fabricated vengeful charges once morest the detainees, following they were shown their personal files.” .
The same source called for “the withdrawal of all retaliatory punishments from their personal files, as well as the punishments that affected detainees,” holding the ministry responsible for “what the situation will lead to following the illegal disciplinary councils are held,” according to the statement of the appeal.
Moreover, the contract professors renewed their emphasis on continuing the previously announced boycott steps, related to the boycott of the Masar system and everything related to it, the boycott of the classroom visits of inspectors, and the boycott of the trainings related to the accompanying professor and the main professor.
In addition, the coordination renewed the call to embody the memory of May 1st, stressing its continued struggle to overthrow the contracting plan and its legislative framework, the statute, and clinging to the demand for inclusion in the public service for all professors.
