The GAK will continue to rely on the services of Jakob Meierhofer in the coming years. The Graz team agreed on a contract extension with the goalkeeper until the end of the 2025/26 season. The 25-year-old joined GAK in 2020 and has since played 67 competitive games – in 28 of which he kept a clean sheet.
“Jakob is the best goalkeeper in the league and an important supporter of our team on and off the pitch. We are therefore pleased that he will continue to follow his path with the GAK in the future,” says GAK sports director Dieter Elsneg.
Goalkeeper coach Thomas Queder also extended his contract for another two years.
