SV Elversberg has extended the contract with Jannik Rochelt. The 24-year-old winger signed a new contract with the second division promoted team for two more years until 2026. The offensive player came to Saarland from SSV Ulm on a free transfer last summer and quickly established himself as a top performer. In the promotion season Rochelt, who had also been trained at FC Bayern, played 45 times in all competitions and recorded 14 goals and 16 assists, making him the third-best scorer in the 3rd division.

“Jannik has integrated perfectly into the team from day one and his performances over the past season have confirmed how valuable he is to us. The fact that he decided at this early point in time to continue on his way with SVE is a strong sign for everyone,” said sporting director Ole Book. Rochelt added: “The last year in Elversberg was not only great because of the success, but also because of the team that works together here. I feel absolutely comfortable and settled at SVE and I’m looking forward to the time that still lies ahead of us.”
