The contents of the British personal library Naturalist Charles Darwin (1809–82), the father of the theory of evolution, has now been completely reconstructed and made publicly accessible for the first time. The research result was preceded by almost two decades of meticulous detective work, which involved tracking down thousands of books, magazines, brochures and articles in the naturalist’s library.
