[Reporter Wang Yihong/Taipei Report]According to the latest issue of Shanghai Export Container Freight Index, SCFI was 4163.74 points, down 13.56 points from the previous week.

In the latest SCFI, the FEU (40-foot container) of the Far East to West America route was US$7,888, which was the same as last week, and the FEU per FEU to the US East was US$10,588, which was US$41 or 0.3% lower than last week. The freight rate from the Far East to Europe per TEU (20-foot container) reached US$5,955, down US$29 or 0.4% from the previous week. The freight rate from the Far East to the Mediterranean was higher, up US$20 from last week, reaching US$6,691 per TEU, an increase of 0.2 %. In addition, the Far East to Singapore each TEU 996 US dollars, down 5 US dollars from the previous week, or 0.4%.
