– Larvik Havnevesen has now secured the crane well enough for Superspeed to return and dock. That decision has been made by the harbor manager and the captain of Superspeed, writes operations manager Tom Richard Skuggedal in the Sørøst police district on X.

Barely an hour after the first reports of the crane on wild roads, the police reported that the Superspeed had left the ferry berth.

Just before 20, the police state that the crane is secured well enough for Superspeed to return.

No injuries

The ferry was quickly unloaded of both vehicles and people.

– So far there has been no damage to Color Line’s buildings or vessels. Color Line has canceled the next departure, said operations manager Tom Richard Skuggedal in the Sørøst police district at around 18.30.

In the police log, the operations manager wrote that at the time work was being done to stabilize the crane.
