CONSUMER DAY 2023: AGM event brought together more than 130 retail CEOs, marketers, eCommerce heroes and influencers at Wienerberg

“This is how Austria buys” with a focus on GenZ and best agers. 2nd edition of the event series with Julia Furdea, Richard Lugner, Franz Schopf, Johanna Ludley and Samy Liechti at ThirtyFive.

Vienna (OTS) Yesterday, September 14th, it was that time once more: The who’s who of the domestic (online) trading and marketing scene came together at the trade association’s CONSUMER DAY 2023 at ThirtyFive Vienna. HV managing director Rainer Will opened the second edition of the innovative event format, Puls4 journalist Julia Furdea charmingly moderated the program. The range of topics ranged from the changing consumer behavior of Austrians to LGBTQIA+ and ethnic groups as target groups, the generational differences between Gen Z, Millennials, Baby Boomers and Best Agers to influencer marketing and the most important consumer trends of the future. The new consumer behavior was also scientifically analyzed by EY and Mindtake Research.

Under the event motto “This is how Austria buys”, top-class industry experts provided keynote speeches, best practices and two panel discussions to delight the more than 130 participants, including numerous final retail decision-makers. Incidentally, Lugner declared on the AGM stage with a wink that he would no longer be available as a candidate in the next federal presidential election.

In the traditional startup session, representatives from Guest Connect, Pocket Shop, Warrify, Flocke and Golden Nugget Communications were able to pitch and convince potential investors.
