The Consumer Council tested 15 pillow samples earlier, 6 of which were made of polyester fiber, 6 of which were made of memory foam, and 3 of which were made of latex. The prices ranged from HK$139 to HK$1,558. Compared with the same pillow material, memory foam samples have the largest price gap, ranging from 200 yuan to 1,558 yuan, a difference of nearly 7 times; polyester fiber samples are relatively cheap, with an average price of about 200 yuan.
15 types of pillows were tested by a European laboratory according to the body characteristics of Asian men and women, including height, weight, shoulder width, etc., and a male and a female were arranged to test the supporting performance of samples. The test items included durability, comfort and fiber composition of the pillow bag .
