Quality care… but difficulty waiting
Monegasques are satisfied with the healthcare offering in the city. 77% of voters are, a figure which peaks at 88% for students and 86% for those over 65.
Regarding care at the CHPG, 63% of voters say they are well taken care of, 77% for those over 65.
But despite the quality of care available to nationals, certain problems remain.
“The qualitative part is cruel…we love doctors so much that we would like to have an appointment before the next two years”quips National Council communicator Stephan Machère-Doherty.
“The red alert was given about the inability to have a medical appointment quickly. As for the CHPG, satisfaction is good, people tell us they are happy with their CHPG but do not understand the appointment system , the administrative… which means that we are sometimes obliged to fill out the same file twice”he continues.
“The simple solution would be to set up a health center.”
A proposal favored by 78% of the Monegasques surveyed, a percentage peaking at 84% for civil servants.
