The crossroads is intended to become a “Single Point Interchange”, a system which does not exist anywhere else in Flanders. While currently several lanes overlook the ring road, there will only be one main bridge. Traffic will be governed by intelligent traffic lights.

The footprint will be reduced. The Woluwe valley should be revalued thanks to the recovered space. Likewise, cycling infrastructure will be built.
