Construction of the PY12 route advances, which will positively impact almost 60,000 people in Presidente Hayes

Asunción, IP Agency.- The Ministry of Public Works and Communications promotes the asphalt paving and maintenance of route PY12. It is estimated that this section under construction will generate direct jobs for more than 400 people; while the indirect impact of the works will reach approximately 56,000 people along the 166 kilometers that the project includes, in the department of Presidente Hayes.

The MOPC highlights that the enabling and maintenance works on route PY12 are gaining ground following the first track interventions carried out in the third batch.

This sector, in charge of the Chaco Road Consortium made up of the Weell companies. Co SA- Teco SRL, reported that the current work includes clearing, clearing and cleaning, as well as the movement of soil and embankment, covering a stretch that goes from kilometer 80.2 to kilometer 108.2.

Likewise, Lot 3 covers regarding 28 kilometers of the main route of the road from kilometer 80.2 to kilometer 122.2, and includes the improvement of access to Cabo Liborio Talavera (former Ninfa), which will pave 44, 4 kilometers of roads.

The consortium in charge urges residents to take extreme precautions when traveling through the sections under construction and to strictly respect the signs, in order to avoid putting their safety and that of workers at risk.
