After collecting his first point the day before, Connor Bedard scored his first goal in the NHL on Wednesday, during the Chicago Blackhawks game, but his team lost 3-1 to the Boston Bruins.
The Hawks rookie took a shot with a tight angle that was easily blocked by Linus Ullmark. Bedard, however, continued behind the net where he recovered the puck and completed the spin to open the scoring.
At 18 years and 86 days old, he is the third youngest player in Hawks history to score his first goal.
Bedard also received his first tripping penalty and scared his team when he was slow to get up following crashing into the boards with regarding five minutes left in the third period.

In his NHL debut once morest the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday, he collected an assist in a 4-2 victory.
Hawks forward Taylor Hall was injured during the game. Coach Luke Richardson said following the game that Hall would be evaluated on a weekly basis.
