The twenty-fifth session of the Water, Energy and Environment Technology Exhibition (WETEX) and Dubai Solar Energy included Damac Properties in its list of thousands of local and international exhibiting companies specialized in energy, water, sustainability, green technologies, renewable and clean energy, green buildings, and electric vehicles. The company also highlights its residential complex “DAMAC Lagoons”, a project that seeks to obtain a gold rating – Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) from the Green Building Council in the United States of America, thus becoming the first luxury residential complex in the UAE to obtain this rating. Within the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) classification system for cities and residential complexes, the complex includes, in all its stages, from design, through construction, construction and operational operations, many green and sustainable features. This session of WETEX and Dubai Solar is of great importance, as it comes a few days before the UAE hosts the twenty-eighth session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).
