The twenty-fifth session of the Water, Energy and Environment Technology Exhibition (WETEX) and Dubai Solar Energy included Damac Properties in its list of thousands of local and international exhibiting companies specialized in energy, water, sustainability, green technologies, renewable and clean energy, green buildings, and electric vehicles. The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) is organizing the WETEX and Dubai Solar Energy Exhibition 2023, under the generous directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, from 15 to 17 November 2023 at the Center Dubai World Trade Center.

The company also highlights its residential complex “DAMAC Lagoons”, a project that seeks to obtain a gold rating – Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) from the Green Building Council in the United States of America, thus becoming the first luxury residential complex in the UAE to obtain this rating. Within the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) classification system for cities and residential complexes, the complex includes, in all its stages, from design, through construction, construction and operational operations, many green and sustainable features. The company also displays one of its largest projects, “Safa One Day.” Grisogono.

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of the Authority, Chairman and Founder of the exhibition, said: “WETEX and Dubai Solar Energy Exhibition, the largest exhibition in the region, contributes to the sectors of energy, water, green development, sustainability and related sectors, and is one of the largest specialized exhibitions in the world, through its support of technologies and initiatives.” And green and renewable projects, in achieving the Dubai Urban Plan 2040, which draws an integrated future map for sustainable urban development, the main focus of which is people, improving the quality of life in the Emirate of Dubai, and enhancing the emirate’s global competitiveness.

This session of WETEX and Dubai Solar is of great importance, as it comes a few days before the UAE hosts the twenty-eighth session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28).
