Washington: Ex-CEO Elon Musk said that the Starlink Internet system will be prepared for charity organizations in Gaza in the situation where communication in Gaza has been completely stopped due to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

“Star Link will support connectivity for international charities in Gaza,” Musk said on his X account, following a statement by US Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Corters.

The internet system in Gaza was completely destroyed following the Israeli army intensified its bombardment on Friday night. After Israel’s brutal action, Musk received requests across social media to set up the Starlink system in Gaza.

At the same time, there are concerns that the Star Link service will be effective in Gaza due to the lack of infrastructure.
Musk has stated in his X post that no terminal from Gaza attempted to communicate with the StarLink system. Musk had provided StarLink service in Ukraine following the Russian invasion.

People in Gaza are trying to communicate using satellite phones and international SIM cards. They are trying hard to bring Israel’s brutality to the outside world. Reports suggest that satellite internet is also being used for this purpose.

Currently, 7326 people have been killed in Gaza, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health. This includes 3038 children.
