In the annual B2B customer barometer of the German industry magazine Connect, Drei achieved the best rating of all providers in the German-speaking area for the first time and thus won the Austrian rating for the second time following 2021.
In February 2023, the technical institute FifT surveyed 3,298 business customers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland for the customer barometer. 22 detailed criteria were collected – from price-performance, satisfaction with the network, network availability, call quality and transmission speed to personal customer service and the service app. Drei received the top grade of 1.6 from its business customers with a total score of 136 points in the entire German-speaking area, followed by the Swiss Swisscom with 127 points (grade 1.7) and the German 1&1 with 116 points (grade 1.8).

In addition to the B2B customer barometer as a mobile operator, Drei also came first in the new Connect study on Internet use by business customers. With an overall result of 122 points (grade 1.8), Drei clearly leads the Austrian ranking and was able to increase the previous year’s result by 27 points.
Customer proximity and 1.2 billion euros network investment are having an effect.

In order to make the advantages of digitization available and affordable for all customers, the company is investing 1.2 billion euros in network expansion as part of the largest investment project in its history. Drei is the only provider to set up a completely new network for 5G. This is why Drei’s 5G network is currently achieving significantly higher speeds than the competition, even in real tests.[1] In the course of the year, Drei’s 5G network will already reach three quarters of all companies and more than 200 of the most remote communities in Austria.
Drei recently reduced the cost of switching to 5G by around 20 percent. Mobile phone tariffs with unlimited data volume via 5G start at Drei for less than 20 euros per month*.
