It’s coming! 
In less than a week, we will embark for Silicon Valley for 12th edition do MM Tour. How wonderful!
We will be in a group of 13 readers of MacMagazine (plus this one who writes to you and Edu), for a week together to visit historical landmarks, museums, cool companies and, of course, also tourist from mountain to hill San Francisco (California, USA) and region.
Below, you will meet the group that will accompany us this time:
Born in São Paulo by vocation, single, he is a finance and compliance executive, recognized for his leadership skills and assertive communication. His passion for cinema, literature, travel, gastronomy and sports reveals a modern and complex profile. Accustomed to the Apple polisher movement since its first launches, he is strongly attracted to Silicon Valley, by the atmosphere of innovation and technology. Participating in the MM Tour represents a unique possibility of valuable experience and insights, navigating the challenges of the future, sustaining increasingly consistent professional and personal growth.
Baiana, 38 years old, has a degree in administration and is a businesswoman. Passionate about sports and running, it will be her first time in Silicon Valley.
Baiano from Salvador, son of a São Paulo man and a carioca and with a surname familiar to MM fans. 
Journalism and marketing student, currently on exchange in Canada, more specifically in Vancouver. The MM Tour has always been a desire and a goal that will finally be possible in this edition. Avid fan of Apple and MacMagazine, very much looking forward to this unique experience!
A 48-year-old Carioca native, he is an Army colonel by profession and also passionate about technology. In addition to his military training, he also graduated in systems analysis and specialized in cryptography and network security. He is currently retired from his military profession, which allows him to dedicate more time to his technological matters. He has been fascinated by the Apple world since 2007, when he saw a first-generation iPod touch that a friend had bought. He was dazzled by that touchscreen and the almost total absence of buttons on the iDevice. How not to fall in love? In 2010 he bought his first Apple product, an iPhone 4, and since then he hasn’t left the Apple world. With bites and bytes running through his veins, he has been following MacMagazine for many years and has always dreamed of visiting Silicon Valley and the home of the biggest companies in the sector. On this MM Tour, you will have the opportunity to delve into the history of technology and the beginning of the Information Age.
He is 31 years old, a Mechanical Engineer by training and an investor by vocation (CNPI®). Throughout his career, he accumulated experience in innovation and corporate finance, working at multinational giants Ambev and Suzano. Currently, he is about to start an MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Germany. He believes in the transformative power of education, is passionate about sports, especially football, and is a technology enthusiast. And when it comes to technology, you can’t ignore the Apple world, having been a fan of the ecosystem since coming into contact with the first product, in 2012. This is your second trip to Silicon Valley through the MM Tour, where you seek to breathe the air of innovation and come back inspired from there. Let’s go!
Born in Blumenau (SC), he has lived in São Paulo since he was 6 years old. He’s a tailor — in fact, his entire family on his father’s side are tailors — and works in the center of São Paulo, close to the municipal theater.
Pernambucano, 43 years old, graduated in Computer Science from Unicap, is currently a businessman and investor. Passionate about photography, series, films, games and especially technology. He entered the Apple world when he purchased an iPod video in 2005, and discovered MacMagazine when looking for tips on his first MacBook in 2011. It will be his third time in Silicon Valley.
Ophthalmologist, from Teresina (PI), participates in several national and international ophthalmology congresses. Lately he uses his MacBook pro M1. He took a Swift programming course but stopped, wanting to return to programming mainly in apps in the medical field. He is currently part of the Brazilian team that developed the first ophthalmological surgical simulator in Brazil (EYELAB TEAM) — the first national one to use artificial intelligence. He always wanted to visit Silicon Valley, especially Apple’s headquarters. Very excited to participate in MM Tour XII!
Carioca, 24 years old, graduated in Design from PUC-Rio, postgraduate student in FullStack Development from PUC-RS. He was a student at the Apple Developer Academy | PUC-Rio, winning the Swift Student Challenge in 2020 and 2021. Since 2021, he has worked as an iOS software engineer for a North American company. Passionate about Apple since he was little, he had his first contact with the products with the fourth generation iPod touch and the iPad 2. Nowadays, he uses the entire Apple ecosystem for work and leisure.
He is 30 years old, from Brasília but has lived in Portugal for almost a decade. Works with CRM at a digital marketing agency in Lisbon. Inserted in the Apple ecosystem since 2009, it is increasingly interested in home automation and home automation. He also enjoys disconnecting and camping, something that came from his many years as a Boy Scout. He has already visited 24 countries and is about to fulfill his dream of visiting Silicon Valley. He recently swapped Spotify for an iPod classic, his indispensable companion on any trip.
Directly from the Federal Capital, Brasília, graduated in Computer Science and working as a Software Engineer, he is always looking for experiences involving technology and innovation. He also really enjoys gadgets in general, video games, board games, LEGO and mountain biking. He became a fan of Apple products due to the level of detail and zeal that the company employs when developing them, obviously also due to the ecosystem and the simplicity of always working (never turn off your Mac 
) and since 2020 its entire setup has been taken over by Apple devices. On the MM Tour, you try to feel a little bit of that Silicon Valley atmosphere which, for those in the area, is something you always hear and read about, connecting with people with similar interests and exploring technological innovations. MM Tour XII is gone!
Minas Gerais, but only lived there until they were 2 years old, since then in São Paulo. He is 48 years old, is the father of 3 children (also Apple lovers), has worked in the IT area for around 30 years, coming from experience in software development, quality control, operations, architect and more recently as CTO at IBM. Passionate (addicted) about technology, he likes to try (whenever his pocket allows) all the new things. He has been an Apple user since 1998, when he purchased an iMac G3.
Pernambucano, born in Recife, is 45 years old. He lives in Belém do Pará and is a dedicated father of four children, two girls and two boys. For 22 years, Stevens has led the Spazzio group with enthusiasm and determination. Passionate about Apple “as long as we can remember”, he is also a big fan of MacMagazine. When he discovered the last spot available for MM Tour XII, he didn’t think twice about securing his spot. In addition to having the company of Rafael Fischmann and Eduardo Marques, he is excited to make new friends and live this great adventure with other Apple enthusiasts.
For those interested in the MM Tour XIII, we intend to hold it in a year’s time and places will be open until the end of October (obviously, bosses have preference), so that everyone has plenty of time to plan their vacation in advance. Stay tuned!
