After being the victim of strong criticism on social networks, together with the representatives Julia Miranda and Carolina Arbeláez, for promoting the subcommittee that will try to agree on the Health Reform, the Green Party congresswoman Katherine Miranda announced that she will take legal and disciplinary action once morest those who they did but also those who promoted this ‘digital bullying’.

“Here we are going to leave a precedent and a strong message to the country once morest digital violence. It is not possible to attack someone who thinks differently, defame their good name and even affect the physical and mental health of a person”, questioned the representative to the Chamber of Bogotá.

According to Miranda, precisely, “what happened to present a proposal that simply seeks to capture the spirit of what democracy is, which is to generate consensus on a reform such as that of Health, so important for the country, made it clear that many congressmen are not attentive to a plenary. And that cannot be the reason for the attacks and aggressions that we have received”.

That is why the representative explained that “we have decided to take judicial and disciplinary actions once morest the winemakers, public officials and people very close to the national government. Politics has to be done with arguments, respecting those who think differently and building on what has been built”.

The congresswoman will go to the Prosecutor’s Office, the Attorney General’s Office and the Supreme Court of Justice, depending on the case, to file these actions. She said that they are working on the list of congressmen and government officials, although she announced that SAE director Daniel Rojas is one of those involved.
