Alpbach (OTS) – Alpbach (OTS) – When the certificate was handed over on 14.6. Simon Meinschad, Managing Director of hollu GmbH and respACT Board Member and Regional Coordinator Tyrol, personally congratulated Thomas Kahn, Managing Director of the Congress Centrum Alpbach, on their 400th membership and emphasized the pioneering role of the company in sustainable event management.
The Congress Centrum Alpbach, where the top-class European Forum Alpbach with more than 4,000 participants takes place every year, is known for its innovative positioning in the field of sustainability and green meetings.
The sustainability strategy has been an integral part of the corporate philosophy of the Congress Centrum Alpbach (CCA) for years. The building itself sets completely new standards. The high level of energy efficiency and the economical use of electricity are just a few measures from a long list that are fulfilled as a “Green Location”. For this, and also for the sustainable event management, the Congress Centrum Alpbach has already received the Austrian Ecolabel and the international Green Globe certification several times. The new respACT membership is therefore a valuable addition and the next step in the right direction.
