On April 20, 2022, at the Musée du Cercle Africain in Pointe-Noire, Congo Terminal accompanied and the Network of Artisanal Fishing and Sea Stakeholders (RAPAM) to lead a discussion workshop on the protection of marine biodiversity and sustainable management of the environment. This workshop brought together nearly a hundred people, most of whom were actors in artisanal fishing. At the end of a day of work aimed at raising awareness, the participants learned regarding the attitudes that cause marine pollution and problems linked to the environment, with in particular the extinction of aquatic flora and fauna. ” The objective of this workshop is to set up a platform for exchanges between the actors of the marine environment to study together the approaches to be adopted. We cannot provide lasting solutions without identifying the problems and involving the actors concerned. says Fabrice GOMA, President-Coordinator of RAPAM. “We felt it was essential to support this workshop, which is linked to current problems.
