The operative remains in the area following an ambush.
At least one official was killed and another is seriously injured, following being ambushed by alleged members of the Tren de El Llano gang in Altagracia de Orituco in Guárico state.
According to what was reported on social networks by journalists Román Camacho and Delmiro De Barrio, a PoliGuárico commission was patrolling the Peña de Mota area when they were intercepted by criminals.
The chief supervisor, José Will Polanco, died there, along with three other uniformed officers. When he arrived at the care center he had no vital signs, a second is serious, although his death has been reported, it has not yet been confirmed.
This caused a strong security device in the area and there were more clashes with mixed commissions of the Bolivarian National Guard, Bolivarian National Police and the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps.
Reports indicate that the alleged antisocials would be members of the “El Malony” gang, who were displaced when their leader was killed. Others suggest that they are from the Tren del Llano.
During the ambush, two Guárico Police motorcycles were stolen, as well as a Glock pistol, cal. 9mm, ENY-624 serial and a portable radio.
