The provincial government confirmed 1,094 new cases of coronavirus in Santa Fe. During the day, 12 deaths were registered and there are already 8,933 people who have died in the district since the beginning of the pandemic.

So far, the Ministry of Health reported 714,942 infections by COVID-19 and the fatality rate remains around 1.25 percent of the total. Likewise, 97.1% of the positive diagnoses were also discharged by the health authorities.

The number of coronavirus cases recorded in the last two weeks in Santa Fe fell 62% compared to the previous fortnight. Likewise, the incidence is already 849 patients 100,000 inhabitants, just over a quarter if that number is compared with the peak of 3,278 registered on Thursday, January 20.

Regarding the vaccination campaign, the provincial government confirmed that this Monday 22,894 doses were applied out of a total of 7,495,347. According to the latest report from the Ministry of Health, In Santa Fe there are 11,904 active cases of coronavirus. This is the least amount since Friday, December 31, when the third wave of the pandemic began.
