Under the auspices of the Arab Open University, the International Scientific Academy for Physical Education and Sports, in cooperation with the Lebanese Society for Physical Culture, organized a massive conference at the Hilton – Al Habtoor Hotel. Its workshops, which extended for more than six hours, focused on the importance of mental health among athletes, and a large group of people with disabilities participated in its many sessions. Then Professor Oueidat delivered a speech on behalf of Minister George Kallas, in which he pointed out that the spirit of a champion with athletic achievement often stems from the core of his psychological health. He stressed that paying attention to the mental health of athletes will contribute to graduating champions by instilling a spirit of competition and challenge to reach them on the podium, and he congratulates the university.
