On February 3, 2024, the College of Veterinarians of Navarra will be the scene of an outstanding Conference on Internal Medicine in Small Animals, open to both registered and private veterinarians. It will be taught by Ignacio Mesa Sánchez, specialist with a European Diploma in Internal Medicine and AVEPA accredited in Internal Medicine, and Carles Mengual Riera, master in Animal Medicine from the University of Córdoba and in the process of AVEPA accreditation in Emergencies and Intensive Care.
The day will be divided into two parts. The morning session, which will begin at 9:30 a.m., will be focused on the renal area, with emphasis on acute kidney failure and the clinical management of proteinuria and glomerulopathies. These topics are crucial for animal care and the speakers will offer valuable information for participants.
After a break for lunch, the followingnoon will focus on respiratory problems. Speakers will share their knowledge on the management of respiratory distress, tracheal collapse, and the use of stents to improve the quality of life of patients with these conditions.
