Many citizens are searching for the conditions for applying for the irregular employment grant 2023 on the website of the Ministry of Manpower, to obtain support of 1,000 pounds.
This comes after President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi’s decision, during his speech during the Labor Day celebration, the day before yesterday, to establish an emergency relief fund for irregular workers, and to transfer the dues of social and health accounts to it, allowing them to be invested and spent from them, in emergencies and crises, on irregular workers in a sustainable manner. And the social and developmental return from it is maximized, in addition to the start of activating the fund’s work immediately after the end of the legal procedures, by disbursing an urgent subsidy value of 1,000 pounds to irregular workers who do not benefit from social protection programs.
“Masrawy” monitors the conditions for applying for the irregular employment grant as follows:
1- The applicant must be of Egyptian nationality and reside permanently in Egypt.
2- The applicant should not be a beneficiary of a social security pension or a solidarity and dignity pension.
3- He should not be the owner of property, agricultural land, leases, or real estate, and he does not own a commercial register or livestock for trade.
4- To register with the Ministry of Manpower as an irregular daily worker.
In a related context, the Ministry of Manpower sent Circular No. 44 of 2023, issued by the Accounts Sector and Financial Directorates of the Central Department of Government Accounts at the Ministry of Finance, regarding irregular employment, to its directorates in the governorates, under the direction of Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, to take action. It is necessary to oblige all government agencies, including ministries, local administration units, agencies with special budgets, public authorities, public sector companies, and the public business sector, to notify the irregular employment departments in the Manpower Directorates of the contracting, supplies, and services contracts concluded with them, and not to pay any financial dues to the contractors of those works, without obtaining a certificate Approved by the irregular employment departments in the manpower directorates stating the payment of the irregular employment fund dues on all these contracts.
It is worth noting that the accounts of irregular workers affiliated with the Ministry of Manpower have contributed 1.4 billion pounds to the presidential grant approved by President El-Sisi for irregular employment during the Corona crisis, and those accounts have provided this category since its establishment until now with more than 2.5 billion pounds in grants and social care. health in all provinces.
