Muplodocus is now available in Pokémon Unite. The official punchline is earthy: “Drip to victory with this Dragon-type Defender who specializes in slimy interrupts”.
You can obtain Muplodocus in exchange for 12,000 Æos Coins or 575 Æos Gems from the Unit Combat Bureau shop. Be careful, because Muplodocus can only be obtained for Aeos Gems for the first seven days following arrival.
Muplodocus’ Ability: Sticky
The talent Sticky slows opponents while healing Muplodocus. When Muplodocus is hit by an attack, he has a certain percentage chance of spreading slime around him. Slime deals damage to opposing Pokémon and applies an effect to them Sticky slowing down for a short time. The effect Sticky slowing reduces movement speed and can be stacked up to four times per opposing Pokémon. When the Pokémon with this Ability enters tall grass, it recovers a fixed amount of HP continuously until it attacks or exits the tall grass. Once activated, the healing effect goes into recovery.
Meta potential?
“Interruption” is the hallmark of Muplodocus gameplay, making him one of the most unique Defenders in Pokémon UNITE. It is able to hold off melee attacking Pokémon with constant slows and damage over time that it applies by spreading slime through its Ability Stickyor by its empowered attacks. Megawhip et Acid Bomb are also particularly effective at slowing down key melee targets and thus protecting the team’s Attackers.
