Concert: -M- a fusion of dream and reality à la Rockhal

Emerging behind a large curtain, in the middle of a stage bathed in purple light, -M- landed like a superhero, guitar in hand. But a super humble superhero, always close to people and his fans. On “Rêvalité”, his latest album released at the beginning of last summer, it is a question of daydreaming, of course, and of childhood. And to cultivate his part of childhood, a philosophy that is dear to him.

After the sweet “Home” in the introduction, -M- interpreted “Rêvalité” eponymous single from his new album, then went back to a classic, like “Qui de nous deux?”, with Gail Ann Dorsey at his side. Presented by -M- as “a goddess of music”, the one who was for a long time David Bowie’s bassist and backing vocalist gave him the benefit of her superpowers. The son of Louis Chedid even gave way to him for a poignant interpretation of “Life on Mars”.

Other covers were also on the menu, such as “Croc Madam” and its wacky scenography, as well as the great hits of -M-, from “Onde Sensuelle” to “Je dis aime” via “Machistador”. After taking off his wig and swapping his purple cape for a velvet jacket, he settled down on a small stage in the heart of the public, greeting his cousin from Luxembourg, and performing more intimate titles, including “Nombril” in duet with a fan who had sent him a video. And whose dream has come true.
