In the week there were already three cases of vehicle thefts in the city. One of the last to be reported was the theft of a van this Tuesday morning over Spain and Peru. According to the victim, within a few hours, the vehicle was published for sale on social networks.
«On the 31st at dawn, around 4 in the morning, my daughter heard a noise and thought that I was leaving but they were stealing our van“The owner of the vehicle explained to the media.
The truck was parked on the sidewalk. But the funny thing was the truck was posted for sale on Facebook, by the same person who sold it to hima few hours after the event happened, the victim commented.
“I had bought it a month and a half ago,” he explained. That same day the complaint was made with the evidence provided by the victim.
“I have to sell my car to get a truck and start over,” he described indignantly. They commented that in the area the robberies have increased in the last time«they steal everything, tools, batteries, anything. My neighbor had to put a lock on the car battery because of fear“, he declared.
Concern grows in Cipolletti due to the increase in thefts, mainly of vehicles. Last week there were five cases in 7 days, that is, an average of one every 33 hours. While, between Monday and this Thursday, 3 robberies have already been registered. Yesterday they reported the theft of a Peugeot Partner van in the Luis Piedrabuena neighborhood. At 6 in the morning, they entered an address located between Río Negro and Colombia and opened the gate where the vehicle was kept.
Another case spread on Monday, at three in the morning, a man and a woman entered a house in the Arevalo neighborhoody they took one Renault Duster. This case was recorded by a security camera.
