Alajuelense, Herediano, CAI and Real Estelí are the teams classified for the semifinals of the Concacaf Central American Cup.
The Alajuela team where the Honduran Alex López plays, was the last one that managed to get among the best four teams in the tournament following leaving Cartaginés on the road with a 6-1 aggregate.
In this way, Alajuelense will face Herediano, both from Costa Rica, in the semifinals of the Central American Cup and the other match will be between CAI from Panama and Real Estelí from Nicaragua.
It is important to mention that these four clubs that reached the semifinals will already secure a place in the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup.
The four losing quarterfinalists go to the Repechage, where they will play for the two remaining places in the 2024 Champions Cup for Central American clubs. Motagua will face Saprissa from Costa Rica, while Cartaginés will go once morest Comunicaciones from Guatemala.
The semifinal and playoff matches will be between October 24 and 26 (first leg) and October 31 and November 2 (second leg).
The Central American Cup finals are scheduled for November 28-30 (first legs) and December 5-7 (second legs).
