The couple Soul Bang’s and Manamba Kanté, through their foundation Soul Bang’s Manamba Kanté, announces the schooling of 200 children. The beneficiaries have already been identified across the six (6) municipalities of Conakry.
Created in 2020, the Soul BANG’S & Manamba KANTÉ Foundation (SBMT) operates in humanitarian work. Its mission aims to educate 200 deprived Guinean children located in the special zone of Conakry. In front of journalists, singer Souleymane Bangoura and president of the said foundation explained the approach of his foundation.
“We had to identify young children in the Conakry area. These young children are out of school and out of school. When we don’t have our hands on our hearts, we always meet people who reflect our image, which is why we had partners from France especially for this schooling project for 200 children,” declared Soul Bang’s president. of the foundation.
Speaking of the identification of 200 children, the NGO has put 15 young agents in the field in order to carry out censuses of children who are not in school or who have dropped out of school due to lack of sufficient resources on the part of parents.
Moussa Faya TOLNO, the executive director of the foundation, talks about the genesis of the said foundation.
“Every time on walks, they see poor children on the street selling water and other things. It was from there that they decided to set up a foundation to help these deprived and disadvantaged children.”
To support this humanitarian action, a gala dinner is planned for this Saturday, September 16, 2023 in a hotel reception on the square. The objective will be to raise funds to sponsor these 200 children.
