The National Council for Science and Technology (Conacyt) opened a call for Postgraduate scholarships in Cuba for qualified Mexican doctors.
The call is aimed at graduates of the degree in medicine of Mexican nationality with a minimum average of 8.0 who wish to study a medical specialty in the full time modality.
The program offers 13 medical specialties: pathological anatomy, general surgery, hygiene and epidemiology, medical genetics, geriatrics, physical medicine and rehabilitation, intensive care and emergency medicine, internal medicine, pneumology, ophthalmology, clinical laboratory, orthopedics and traumatology, and psychiatry.
Applicants must have title and professional license, as well as at least two years of verifiable experience in the service of direct attention to patients in public or private institutions of the National Health System. It is not necessary to have the accreditation of the XLV National Examination of Applicants to Medical Residencies (ENARM) 2021.
Those selected will receive a monthly financial support established by the table of Postgraduate Scholarships Abroad-Medical Specialties in Cuba 2021-2022, which can be consulted at the following link: https://bit.ly/3yL6nPB. Applications will be received starting next Friday May 20th until Friday June 17th. Los results will be announced on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, through the institutional portal of Conacyt.
