Conacyt calls for SMEs for innovation management program

Asunción, IP Agency.- The National Council of Sciences and Technologies (Conacyt) has opened the call for the program of Business Strengthening through Technological Management and Innovation. Applications are received until Sunday, October 6.

The objective of the call is for small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) to implement methodology and good practices for innovation management, identifying points of improvement in products, services, logistics, marketing and market access, detailed the program coordinator. ProInnova from Conacyt, José Bellassai.

The selected companies will receive specialized training in technological management and business innovation, as well as mentoring to develop an innovation pilot. In addition, they will be able to access financing to implement innovative and sustainable projects.

Companies that successfully complete the program, in accordance with the criteria established by CONACYT, may receive a financial award of up to USD 5,500 subject to the budget availability of the ProInnova Program.

«There are 25 places and each company is encouraged to apply between two people who can then implement this in their organizations and those who best describe in the application what they want to do, their current situation, their objectives are the ones who will be selected» , he said in an interview with Paraguay TV.

The call is launched with the support of the Vice Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Vice Ministry of MSMEs) of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC), through the Small Business Development Centers (SBDC).
