Zotac takes advantage of Computex to upgrade its “pico PC”. The Zbox PI336 Pico thus goes under Windows 11 Pro and is presented as a very small ready-to-use office PC, sold at a contained price.
The Zbox PI336 Pico from the manufacturer Zotac is a tiny PC running Windows 11 Pro. Measuring only 10.9 x 7.6 cm and 2 cm thick, it can even find its place in a jeans pocket. This does not prevent it from carrying a sufficient configuration to ensure a number of office tasks.
Built around an Intel Celeron N6211 processor – dual-core engraved in 10 nm and clocked at 1.2 GHz (3 GHz in Turbo) – to which are associated 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of eMMC storage, this small PC is completely cooled passively. It must be said that the TDP of its processor (which also manages the graphics part via the integration of an Intel UHD circuit with 16 calculation units) is only 6.5 W. It perfectly supports 4K screens up to 60Hz.
As usual, Zotac has sought to maximize the connectivity of this computer, integrating a 6E wifi module, a Gigabit Ethernet port, Bluetooth 5.2 and three USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports, including a Type-C. There is even an SDHC card reader and, of course, a mini-jack managing headphones and microphone in combo. Two video outputs are offered in HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.4.
Unsurprisingly with such a format, Zotac provides a VESA attachment system in the box to hide the Zbox PI336 Pico on the back of a monitor. Another interesting accessory: a recovery USB key allows you to reinstall the operating system and all the necessary drivers and software in the event of a problem. Such a small PC does not include a power supply: it is external, but given the very modest power consumption of the whole, it is very compact, barely bigger than an electrical outlet.
The Zotac Zbox PI336 Pico is an interesting evolution of the PI335 Pico under Windows 10 which was sold for $230 when it was launched. We currently have no information regarding its availability and price in Europe.
