The brand has been placed in compulsory liquidation and leaves several employees waiting. Its doors were closed on Tuesday.

Closed doors. The surprise was total this Tuesday for many regular customers of the Foir’Fouille, located in Onet-le-Château. The sign in which you can find everything has lowered the curtain, overnight. According to our information, it has been placed in compulsory liquidation and is therefore now closed, leaving several of its employees waiting. We were unable to reach the management of the Castonétoise brand on Tuesday to obtain more information.

What will happen in the future of the trade that the Great Ruthenians nevertheless seemed to appreciate? According to several sources, it might find a buyer. And thus reopen its doors. In this case, however, it is impossible to know the duration of closure. Nothing has also filtered on a possible reclassification, or not, of the employees.

Installed since 2010 in Onet-le-Château

La Foir’Fouille had been present since 2010 in Onet-le-Château, where it had settled near the Rodez bypass, opposite the Super U. Furniture, decoration, kitchen utensils… In a few years, the brand has attracted a large clientele and its manager was pleased at the time to have obtained premises “among the 10 largest in France”. The story will not last. Like the Foir’Fouille in Villefranche-de-Rouergue which had closed its doors in 2019. The brand still has a store in Aveyron, in Millau.
