Asuncion, IP Agency.- A total of 163 people from the Mayor Otaño district, Itapúa department, benefited from a day of comprehensive care, which included medical consultations, dental care and vaccinations.
This initiative is part of the National Government’s commitment through the Ministry of Health to strengthen the health and well-being of the most vulnerable communities.
The day of care was organized by the Regional Primary Health Care Department, with the participation of doctors from the V Health Region, community agents and nursing students from the Advanced Higher Institute.
During the day, which also included the collaboration of the Yacyretá Binational Entity’s mobile health unit, the scope of services offered to the community was expanded.
Mayor Otaño residents had access to blood pressure, blood sugar and weight checks, as well as general dentistry services and vaccinations against various diseases. 109 medical consultations, 30 dental visits and 24 vaccinations were carried out.
