The Egyptian musician, Mohamed Amin El-Mogi, who was known as the Little El-Mouji, passed away following a struggle with illness, according to his sister, Dr. Ghinwa El-Mouji.

Where the young wave departed in the early hours of Friday morning, and the body was scheduled to be circulated to his final resting place following performing the followingnoon prayer, but emergency circumstances caused the postponement of the date, according to his sister, who indicated that the new date for the burial of the body would be announced later. .

The late musician acquired his nickname from Nightingale Abdel Halim Hafez, as previously revealed, that Nightingale was the one who chose the name for him, especially since the late musician wanted his artistic name to be “Al-Mouji Muhammad Al-Mouji”.

Al-Mouji Al-Saghir composed nearly 500 songs, as he collaborated with major singers, including Angham, and the captain of musicians, Hani Shaker, Samira Said, Muhammad Tharwat, and Mona Abdel Ghani. He also had many contributions to national songs.

He was born in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate in 1951, and joined the Faculty of Music Education to graduate in 1980. In his last days, he was suffering from heart health crises, following he had open-heart surgery, and he needed another urgent heart surgery to treat narrowed arteries.
The Musicians Syndicate, led by Hani Shaker, mourned the late musician, especially since the union was standing next to him in his health crisis, and Hani Shaker, the captain of musicians, borne the cost of his treatment in the first surgery he performed, as revealed by the late musician in a press interview before his death.
The Minister of Culture, Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, and the head of the National Center for Theatre, Music and Folk Arts also called him, following El-Mouji passed away and left behind a great musical legacy.
